I thought this was such an intriguing idea for a book, but I was fairly disappointed. It was incredibly slow and very predictable. It was not gruesome or gory, so it's definitely appropriate for young adults.

Definitely an interesting idea for a novel, but I didn't feel like there was much of a plot. I finished the book and wondered what had taken so many pages.
I enjoyed this book even more than her last one. She includes so many authentic examples that I am excited to implement in my own classroom. It's full of resources for teachers.
